I wanted to showcase the beauty and fragility of the marine ecosystem in Raja Ampat. It follows the interconnected lives of different ocean creatures, highlighting how everything is linked in the circle of life. The film also touches on the threats our oceans face—like pollution and overfishing—while emphasizing the importance of protecting them. It’s a mix of stunning underwater cinematography and a conservation message, aiming to inspire people to appreciate and take care of the ocean.

Raja Ampat, not only does it hold some of the best diving in the world but it is also home to Yangefo or Tanjung Putus as the locals call it.

Anyone who has been with me here in Raja or followed me for some time knows this is my favorite place. The trees, the roots, the light, the birds, the reefs, I can continue on and on about this place but I instead show you!

Very honored to win the award "Video of the Year" in this year's ADEX Singapore.

I have for a long time wanted to compete in Adex but never felt I had the film or courage to compete, this year I did and not only that but I won the whole competition!

This island has so many good memories and means a lot to me and absolutely one of my favorite places to dive while being in Raja Ampat!

Wow, what an experience and heartfelt welcome we got in Nappan Village here in Cnderawasih.

The people here barely have anything and still, they want to give everything!

Did you know that Pygmy seahorses actually leave their fans at night to go hunting for smaller things to eat? Neither did I until I saw it with my own eyes! This little guy swam in front of me for more than 10 minutes! 🤩

Finally, I got to see my first whale shark! And for those who haven’t, it’s worth the wait! The whale sharks of Cenderawasih Bay are not as large as in Galapagos or Mexico but believe me when I say. They are definitely large enough! Had two amazing trips onboard Calico Jack. I have gotten so much footage to go through and there is definitely more to come.

Just a small teaser of one of the amazing encounters that I was fortunate to experience during my last trip with Mermaid Liveaboards as we crossed 5 different seas in 16 days. A total of 1300+ Nautical miles, more videos will follow with a completion to summarize our trip!

Mangroves, the protectors of our shorelines! Mangroves are vital because they protect from damaging storm and hurricane winds, waves, and floods. Mangroves also help prevent erosion by stabilizing sediments with their tangled root systems. They maintain water quality and clarity, filtering pollutants and trapping sediments originating from land.
