Together, Matthias and Fernanda combine a shared passion for exploration, wildlife, photography, and meaningful travel experiences. With years of experience guiding and working across some of Indonesia’s most remote and extraordinary destinations, they bring together cinematic storytelling, local expertise, ocean knowledge, and a genuine love for connecting people with nature.
Through Eye of Nature, they aim to create immersive journeys that go beyond ordinary travel — combining adventure, conservation, culture, and visual storytelling to inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural world. Whether above or below the surface, their goal is to share authentic experiences, unforgettable wildlife encounters, and the beauty of the wild with people from around the world.
Fernanda is a Brazilian travel guide, photographer, and Divemaster with a deep passion for the ocean, wildlife, and cultural exploration. Fluent in English, Portuguese, French, Italian, Spanish, and Creole, she brings a warm, international, and welcoming presence to every journey.
Having spent extensive time guiding and diving throughout Komodo and Indonesia, Fernanda combines professionalism, local experience, and a genuine love for adventure. Her friendly and gentle personality helps guests feel comfortable both above and below the surface, whether exploring remote islands, encountering marine life, or discovering local cultures.
Through photography and storytelling, Fernanda aims to inspire a deeper connection with nature and create meaningful experiences that people will remember long after the journey ends.

Matthias is a Swedish wildlife photographer, filmmaker, and expedition leader with over 10 years of experience exploring some of the most remote and biodiverse regions of Southeast Asia. Specializing in underwater, wildlife, landscape, and nature storytelling, his work is driven by a passion for conservation, exploration, and authentic human connection with the natural world.
Having worked extensively across Raja Ampat, Komodo, Alor, Halmahera, and Borneo as a scuba diving instructor, cruise director, and liveaboard manager, Matthias combines deep field knowledge with cinematic visual storytelling. His experience both above and below the surface allows him to guide immersive expeditions while capturing powerful moments from some of the planet’s most extraordinary ecosystems.
